Our Strength & Experience Since 2007 we have been involved in the manufacture of Medical Electronic Instrumentation and Mechatronic assemblies for some of the most demanding customers operating in niche, high quality and high reliability market sectors. Recently, we also specialise in Electro-Optical Assemblies with the majority of the products supplied as complete turnkey solutions. Below are some of the projects which our team of engineers have successfully implemented: Light Mechanical / Electro-Optical Assembly Undertaken as part of our box build capability and are typically utilised in conjunction with our electronics manufacturing capability to produce a variety of electro-mechanical and electro-optical assemblies for Military applications as well as Safety Control for Press Brakes. Rapid Robot system for Medical / Biological / Pharmaceutical Research Specializes in custom automation of sample preparation in Medical, Biological, Pharmaceutical and Research Laboratories. Protean 2D Spot-Cutter This system provides automated imaging, excision and microtiter plate (MTP) loading of up to 100 selected protein spots from 2D Electrophoresis gels and Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) membranes in under 20 minutes.
Electrophoresis Apparatus Electrophoresis is the most well-known electro-kinetic phenomenon. Electrophoresis is an analytical method frequently used in molecular biology and medicine. It is applied for the separation and characterization of proteins, nucleic acids, and sub-cellular-sized particles like viruses and small organelles. Its principle is that the charged particles of a sample migrate in an applied electrical field. If conducted in solution, samples are separated according to their surface net charge density. Microelectrode Amplifier (8 Channels) - Test for EMG, EEG, ECG Signals This is an extremely high input impedance, low noise differential amplifier that accurately amplifies signals derived from micro-electrodes. The system is useful for general purpose recording of cortical, muscle and nerve action/resting potentials. EEG (Electroencephalogram) signal is the recording of electrical activity along the scalp produced by the firing of neurons within the brain. EMG (Electromyography) is the muscle electrical signals. EMG is measured using similar techniques to that used for measuring EEG or other Electrophysiological signals. ECG (Electrocardiogram) is an electrical recording of the heart and is used in the investigation of heart disease. It is a surface measurement of the electrical potential generated by electrical activity in cardiac tissue. Current flow, in the form of ions, signals contraction of cardiac muscle fibers leading to the heart's pumping action.
